Italia! The country and the surrounding seas, depicted in a vintage style. I’ve always loved old maps, so creating one with modern tools was a fun exercise. When looking at older maps for inspiration, I was surprised by how much color cartographers used for administrative boundaries. Usually I just naively think of the sepia tone that has come with age, so I tried to include some more color representation as well as trying to keep the vintage feel.
