A closer look

The view looks from the top of Heimgarten toward Herzogstand, with lakes on either side of the mountain. It comes from the Heimgarten–Herzogstand hiking route.

For this project I put the digital tools aside and returned to colored pencils. The landscape, rather than a dataset, was the starting point.
